Who: Calling all young drivers and soon-to-be drivers and their parents
Why: Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for Maine teenagers. Per miles driven, the crash rate for teens 16 to 19 is four times higher than for adults. This crash risk is even higher during the first year of licensure and when teens are accompanied by their peers. This event will challenge the driving skills of Maine students while engaging them in safe driving activities.
When: Friday, August 23rd 11am-3pm
Where: Various exhibited and interactive experiences in the Maine Mall, near Starbucks and in the parking lot in front of Round1.
Contact: Pat Moody, AAA
