Each day about 37 people in America die in drunk-driving car crashes, that’s one person every 39 minutes, and in 2022, 13,524 people died in alcohol-impaired driving traffic deaths (NHTSA). To help with this growing problem AAA Northern New England and the New Hampshire Office of Highway Safety are hosting the Governor’s Highway Traffic Safety Conference, Monday, November 4th at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord
The conference will convene local and nationally recognized experts to New Hampshire to generate awareness and understanding of the issues of impaired driving. Participants will engage in discussions about topics such marijuana and alcohol impairment, education and prosecution, and hear from local victims of impaired driving crashes. Summit attendees include law enforcement, legislators, administrators, educators, forensic, and traffic safety professionals.
